Joyful Linen Summer Coat

model walking in a floral linen coat, red pants and white sandals

Linen + vivid floral print = joy! I fell in love with this joyful linen fabric from the first sight. On Fabricville.com this print keeps coming every spring-summer season. It has several iterations, with black or pale yellow backgrounds, but this crisp white background is my favourite hands down. The print has a watercolour vibe, […]

Workers trousers a la Zegna

grey pants

For this pair of roomy workers trousers inspired by Erminigildo Zegna SS2023 collection, I used Rundschau pattern construction method. Based on the measurements of pants my son likes, I was able to modify the pattern to create more voluminous trousers. Corduroy cargo pants

Black corduroy cargo pants

These were a quick sew black corduroy cargo pants for Alexei. The ones I made last winter wore out. I used the automatic pattern drafting service from portnoyblog.com, chinos pattern. Made an elastic waist and added cargo side pockets. Nothing extraordinary, but a very good cost per wear ratio. Alexei loves these corduroy cargo pants!

It’s the time for the long-awaited cruise season. It’s the time to explore, stroll the old streets and soak in the sun. This time, however, we (Maya and I) decided to do it virtually, browsing through the photos snapped during our last Italian adventure. Inspired, and preparing for hopeful upcoming travel season, we wanted to […]

Christine’s Dressing Gown

Pink Dressing Gown for Christine

Our good friends Christine and Berney (that Berney who received a me-made bath robe earlier in the year) were planning to leave on a cruise vacation. To celebrate the occasion, we thought of gifting her with a “perfect” morning dressing gown — semi-sheer, sensual, light. And yes, the project had to be mailed in 2 […]
